Our Story
Founded in 2007, Imaging Biometrics (IB) aims to integrate advanced imaging analysis into clinical practice. Our journey began in 2004 when a neuro-oncologist asked our co-founder, “Who excels in MR perfusion?” This question sparked a multi-year comparison study to identify the best method for creating reliable vascularity maps, considering blood-brain barrier disruptions in tumors.
Our flagship product, IB Neuro™, was developed to automate and standardize this validated method. Since then, IB Neuro has become the recognized standard in the field, ensuring broad compatibility and consistency across all MRI platforms. The success of IB Neuro™ led to the expansion of our product line, including IB Diffusion™, IB Delta Suite™, and IB DCE™, each enhancing diagnostic precision and workflow efficiency.
To ensure seamless clinical integration, we developed IB Rad Tech™, a customizable processor that automates sophisticated workflows, including “fractional tumor burden” maps. Our quantitative imaging platforms continue to lead us to novel treatments and therapies, such as the development of oral gallium maltolate, which we are sponsoring in clinical trials. Overall, we remain committed to discovering and translating innovative technologies and therapies that positively impact patient outcomes.
